Compensation and pricing

All health insurers in the Netherlands reimburse the dietary advice for the first 3 hours out of the basic insurance budget. Do you have an additional healthcare insurance? Then you may be entitled to more reimbursed hours of dietetics. We advise you to read the policy conditions or contact your health insurer for the amount of the reimbursement. Food Rebel has contracts with all health insurers in the Netherlands and sends the invoices directly to your insurer. If you are not or insufficiently insured for dietary advice or you have used up your hours, you will receive an invoice at your own address.
Note: if you have not incurred any other medical expenses this year, the reimbursement from the basic insurance budget will be charged to your excess as it is first covered by the ‘eigen risico’. Except for children and clients with compensation from the ‘ketenzorg’. Insured persons under the age of 18, don’t have a premium for ‘eigen risico’, so therefore they always come for free. Dietary advice for diabetes mellitus and CVRM (cardiovascular risk management) is completely covered by the ‘ketenzorg’. For this health care, the ‘eigen risico’ premium does not count.
